Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Lead Mechanic to lead our service department. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of boats and marine equipment in a fast-paced marina environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the service team
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on outboard and inboard engines (experience with Yamaha, Honda, Mercury, and other major brands preferred)
• Rigging and installation of new outboard motors
• General boat repairs and troubleshooting
• Haul-out and launch support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

Position Summary:

The Boat Detailer is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and preparing newly manufactured boats for final inspection and delivery. This role ensures that each boat leaves the production facility in pristine, showroom-ready condition by performing high-quality detailing of all surfaces, components, and compartments inside and out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and detail boat exteriors and interiors, including hulls, decks, consoles, compartments, windows, and hardware
• Perform buffing, polishing, and waxing of fiberglass surfaces to remove swirl marks, oxidation, and surface imperfections
• Remove dust, dirt, adhesives, overspray, and protective coverings from production
• Wipe down and sanitize all interior areas including seating, helm, head compartments, and storage
• Clean stainless steel, chrome, and aluminum fixtures to a high shine
• Apply protective coatings, vinyl treatments, and UV protectants as needed
• Inspect boats for cosmetic flaws and report defects or damage to supervisors
• Use proper detailing tools and supplies including buffers, vacuums, squeegees, and specialty cleaners
• Follow detailing procedures to meet factory and customer standards for cleanliness and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of the detailing area and safely handle chemicals and materials

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of cleaning and polishing techniques for fiberglass, vinyl, plastic, and metals
• Familiarity with compounds, polishes, cleaners, and protectants used in marine detailing
• Good eye for detail and a high standard for quality and cleanliness
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Physically capable of bending, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in tight spaces or on ladders

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor manufacturing and finishing areas
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, buffing equipment, and variable weather conditions

Reports to: Terminal Manager

Status: Salaried – Exempt

Scope: Oversees the functions associated with the day-to-day vessel operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, bargaining and non-bargaining personnel staffing, and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Maintain direct client communication to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

• • Review, analyze, and submit production and cost reports to the Terminal Manager.

• • Work in unison and directly with colleagues, vendors, and other personnel to ensure maximum vessel productivity and ETS profitability.

• • Negotiate service contracts with new and existing customers.

• • Support marketing efforts to expand the ETS client base for marine services.

• • Inform Operations Labor Management (OLM) of any special stevedoring requirements.

• • Prepare annual Vessel Operations budget.

• • Liaison with the accounting department to ensure proper client billing.

• • Resolve labor disputes to avoid any work interruption or on-the-job actions

• • Purchase materials associated with and/or required for efficient vessel operations.

• • Negotiate vendor contracts on an as-needed basis.

• • Ensure vessel operations personnel are actively engaged in performing all duties and assignments safely and correctly; participate in all safety initiatives.

• • All other duties as assigned.

• • 5 to 8 years of experience in container terminal operations or

2+ years’ experience in container terminal operations

• • A combination of related training and experience may be considered equivalent to a degree

Job Summary As a Fiberglass Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the signature aesthetic of America’s most admired yachts. This position performs basic fiberglass lamination and removal for boat decks, hulls, and other parts. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, brings a positive attitude, and has a passion for top-notch craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Preparation: Perform rough preparatory work for lamination, including inspection, cleaning, and assembling molds prior to project.
• Material Selection: Select precut fiberglass mat/cloth and mix resins for proper curing and strength. Use various tools such as grinders, buffers, saws, and drills.
• Lamination: Lay fiberglass layers into molds, ensuring proper alignment. Saturate mats with resin, remove air bubbles, and smooth seams.
• Cosmetic Detailing: Assist in removing hulls from molds. Perform cosmetic and structural repairs.
• Safety & Quality Compliance: Follow detailed instructions, safety rules, and chemical handling protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Other: All duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience: Zero (0) to six (6) months of experience working with fiberglass resins and composite materials. Can be combined with education or attained through on-the-job training.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift between 25 and 60 lbs.
• Certifications: Must hold a valid driver’s license. Vocational education, a plus.
• Pre-Employment: All applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and operation of: jig saw, band saw, grinders, buffer, skill saw, drill, vacuum pump, dremel, tape measure, hand saw, and scale rule.
• Comfortable working with resin casts, silicone molds, and pouring techniques.
• Continuous mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.

Job duties are to perform repairs to the systems found on various types of boats. This may include engines(gas, diesel, outboard, inboard, I/O), electrical/electronics(110v/12v), plumbing(pressure water/sanitation), refrigeration, heat and air conditioning systems, sails and rigging. Also ability to do minor fiberglass repair, woodwork, and rebedding of hardware. Along with repairing systems, you would also be installing new equipment as requested.
