This position performs basic fiberglass lamination and removal for boat decks, hulls, and other parts. <li>Preparation: Perform rough preparatory work for lamination, including inspection, cleaning, and assembling molds prior to project.</li>
<li>Material Selection: Select precut fiberglass mat/cloth and mix resins for proper curing and strength. Use various tools such as grinders, buffers, saws, and drills.</li>
<li>Lamination: Lay fiberglass layers into molds, ensuring proper alignment. Saturate mats with resin, remove air bubbles, and smooth seams.</li>
<li>Cosmetic Detailing: Assist in removing hulls from molds. Perform cosmetic and structural repairs.</li>
<li>Safety &amp; Quality Compliance: Follow detailed instructions, safety rules, and chemical handling protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.</li>
<li>Other: All duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements </strong></p>

<li>Experience: Zero (0) to six (6) months of experience working with fiberglass resins and composite materials. Can be combined with education or attained through on-the-job training.</li>

The Marine Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of boats and marine equipment. This includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing motors, electrical systems, and other mechanical components. The role also entails ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards and providing maintenance services to ensure vessels are in optimal working condition.</p>

<p>Job duties are to perform repairs to the systems found on various types of boats. This may include engines(gas, diesel, outboard, inboard, I/O), electrical/electronics(110v/12v), plumbing(pressure water/sanitation), refrigeration, heat and air conditioning systems, sails and rigging. Also ability to do minor fiberglass repair, woodwork, and rebedding of hardware. Along with repairing systems, you would also be installing new equipment as requested.</p>

This role focuses on expanding dealer relationships, increasing parts and accessories sales, and supporting service-driven revenue across the aftermarket channels.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the recreational marine industry, understands dealer and service operations, and excels at building long-term partnerships that drive profitable growth.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Develop and execute aftermarket sales strategies to drive revenue growth in recreational boating markets</li>
<li>Manage and expand relationships with boat dealers, distributors, marinas, and service centers</li>
<li>Identify new sales opportunities for parts, accessories, upgrades, and service-related offerings</li>
<li>Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal sales initiatives</li>
<li>Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align aftermarket strategies</li>
<li>Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs within the recreational marine space</li>
<li>Represent the company at boat shows, dealer meetings, and industry events</li>
<li>Provide sales training, product knowledge, and support to dealer partners</li>
<li>Travel to visit dealers and customers (up to <strong>50% travel</strong>)</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)</li>
<li>5+ years of sales experience in the <strong>recreational boating or marine aftermarket industry</strong></li>
